The short version
No accounts, no names, no emails required to use Aisletea. Your conversations and drafts are stored against an anonymous pass token — never your identity — so the chat can remember where you left off during your 7 days. You can erase your chat history in-app anytime. We don’t sell your data, and our AI provider (Anthropic) doesn’t train on your conversations. Details below.
What we collect and store
- Payment info: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We receive a confirmation that your payment succeeded.
- Access cookie:after payment we set a signed, HTTP-only cookie containing a random pass token. It expires after 7 days and doesn’t identify you — there’s no account behind it.
- Chat messages:stored in our database, keyed only to that anonymous pass token, so your conversation survives a refresh and picks up where you left off. You can erase your history anytime with “Clear chat history” in the chat menu. Messages are also sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate each response.
- Wedding profile & drafts:what you tell us in onboarding (names, date, stressors) and anything you save in the drafts library are stored the same way — against the anonymous pass token, never an identity. Delete drafts in-app anytime.
- Waitlist email: if you opt in, your email is stored privately so we can notify you when the community space opens. You can ask us to delete it any time.
- Basic logs: standard server logs (timestamps, request paths, error traces) for reliability and abuse prevention. Not used for marketing or profiling.
What we don't do
- We don’t sell or rent your data.
- We don’t require an account or any personal information beyond what’s needed to process payment.
- We don’t link your conversations to your name, email, or payment details.
- Your conversations aren’t used to train AI models — our AI provider (Anthropic) processes them only to generate your replies and doesn’t train on API inputs.
- We don’t share conversations with third parties except as required to deliver the service (i.e., the AI provider).
Third-party services we use
- Stripe— payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
- Anthropic— AI model provider. Chat messages are sent to their API to generate responses.
- Vercel— hosting, edge delivery, and basic anonymous analytics (page views, no cross-site tracking).
- Supabase— the database where your pass-scoped chats, profile, drafts, and the optional waitlist live.
Deletion and your rights
You can erase your chat history yourself, in-app, at any time (“Clear chat history” in the chat menu), and delete any draft from its page. For anything else — including your waitlist email — email hello@aisletea.com and we’ll delete it. If you’re in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR / CCPA — contact us and we’ll honor them.
Crisis safety
Aisletea is not a therapist or counselor. If a conversation includes signals of self-harm, abuse, or violence, our AI is instructed to redirect to professional resources (988, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, RAINN). Please use those resources directly if you’re in crisis.
